Donate: Devo Guitarist's Sudden Death Leaves Family Devastated

As a child growing up in the 80s, I remember watching MTV and seeing the "Whip It" video for the first time.  Although, the images were improper for a child so young, the bass line alone would make Garfield dance. And, I've been a fan ever since.
Devo were unique, with their yellow, biohazard suits and red, "flower pots" (that's what I called them) on their heads.  Even the music was out of this world, using real instruments along with electronics to create an exclusive sound.
In memory of Bob Casale:  July 14, 1952 - February 17, 2014
Thus, I am heartbroken that such an extraordinary young man and musician passed suddenly at the age of 62.  It is important to share his loss as well as the Rolling Stone article, to come together and help Bob's surviving family move forward.  It's time we, as fans, give back to one who had shared so much of his life and talent creating music for fans as well as performers. (click here to read the Rolling Stone article).
According to Rolling Stone's, Andy Greene, Bob did not leave behind a life insurance policy or financial endowments, leaving his heartsick family with the heavy burden of funeral and medical expenses.
Fortunately,  there is a way we can help. The family has set up a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe with a goal of $100,000.  Click here to give.  Even if you give a small amount, the happiness you feel will be a huge reward.
